Stir Fry Sauce
2/3 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

Sausage Stuffing

Ingredients
1 lb pork sausage

3/4 c onions, minced
1/2 c celery, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp sage, dried
12 c bread, cubed or torn into small pieces
3 eggs
1 c chicken broth
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees (or whatever temperature you are using for other dishes in oven).
2. Butter or lightly oil a 9 x 13 inch baking pan/dish.
3. Brown sausage, remove from pan.
4. In same pan, saute onions until translucent.
5. Beat eggs and chicken broth in a medium bowl.
6. Mix sausage, onions, egg mix and all other ingredients in a very large bowl. Add more broth if it seems dry -- it should be fairly damp to the touch.
7. Put all ingredients in baking pan/dish. Place in oven and check after 30 minutes. Cover with foil if it starts to get dry or too brown on top. Continue to bake for 15 - 30 minutes more.
Stove Top Mac and Cheese (Alton Brown's Recipe)
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 eggs
- 6 ounces evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- Fresh black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 10 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded
Directions
In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente and drain. Return to the pot and melt in the butter. Toss to coat.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, hot sauce, salt, pepper, and mustard. Stir into the pasta and add the cheese. Over low heat continue to stir for 3 minutes or until creamy.
